About the book

HELLO.

I’m Jill Clark.

I was born in Essex in 1948, and moved to Wandsworth with my parents and older sister not long after. I later moved to the Isle of Wight with my mother and sister for three years, before returning to Wandsworth in 1963. I’m married, with three daughters and two grandsons, and have lived in East Sussex for just over forty years.

I qualified as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in 1991, and was awarded a Diploma in Counselling in 1995, then worked for twelve years as a Group Leader and Counsellor at a drop-in Centre for Mental Health Service Users.

I studied Creative Writing at Sussex University, and was awarded an MA in Creative Writing, The Arts & Education in 2003. I am devoted to cats and work part-time at the National Cat Adoption Centre in Chelwood Gate, in addition to providing holiday cover for other Yoga teachers.

I love going for walks in the countryside, swimming, reading and travelling to other countries, as well as spending time with my family.

Jill Clark, welcome to my world
